Yorkville University, a private, non-denominational university, was founded in 2003 in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Yorkville University is committed to academic excellence through the delivery of programs using highly effective, engaging teaching methods.
Most of their courses are online courses. Their faculty members are recognized professionals who hold advanced degrees in their fields of expertise.
Between 2007 and 2009 RCC Institute of Technology, Academy of Design and Toronto Film School, Ontario, became part of Yorkville University. In 2015 Yorkville University was authorized to offer Bachelor of Business Administration in the province of British Columbia with specializations in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Project Management and Energy Management. 
In 2018, The University Magazine had named Yorkville University as one of the best online universities in Canada.
